How it goes

Three Steps, Start to Shipped.

  1. 01

Send the item or the vehicle

Name the specific thing — a figure, a jacket, a camera, an S14 on a dealer plate. Detail helps: size, year, spec, chassis code.

  2. 02

We go looking on the ground

Shops, racks and lots in Japan, plus the live streams where you can watch us walk the aisles and claim what you want on the spot.

  3. 03

We confirm and ship it to you

When we've found it, we come back to you with what it is before anything moves. Then it leaves Japan and heads to your door.

For a vehicle, the chassis code, year and spec are what actually move a hunt along.

Questions, answered

Before You Send It.

Can I ask you to find one specific item?
Yes. Custom requests are one of the main ways people use us — send us the item you're after and we'll go looking for it in Japan.
How does live stream shopping work?
We shop in Japan live and you watch in real time. You see what's on the shelf as we do and claim the pieces you want while the stream is running.
Do you import vehicles as well as goods?
We do. Vehicle imports from Japan run alongside our thrift and collectible sourcing — tell us the vehicle you have in mind and we'll take it from there.
Do you only serve customers in the United States?
No. Sakura Haul serves customers around the world. We're based in Fargo, North Dakota, and we ship from Japan to buyers elsewhere.
What kinds of things do you usually bring back?
Japanese collectibles, fashion, electronics, secondhand and thrift items, and vehicles — the kind of things that never reach shelves outside Japan.
